By far the most requests for information we get are about family names and histories. Our collection currently contains documentation on forty-three separate families, and thanks to our members and the community, some of it is quite extensive, and well beyond just a family tree and some dates (we hold many items like letters, photos, newspaper clippings, full genealogies, and birth death, and marriage certificates). Every file is considered “active,” and we are currently in the process of digitizing the collection in order to create a searchable, updatable database to present on this website. We ask for your patience - It’s a very, very big job - while we soldier on through the process, and connect it with our artifact fond on Artefacts Canada, as well as our current current cemetery project.
